It was to be delivered Sept 16th. I was having a football party on the 17th that I was going to serve the sausage. I never received until Sept 19th so I had to run out and buy more sausages from the store for the party. I was disappointed in the sausage, it wasn't pit smoked. Other pit smoked sausages you can smell the smoke through the plastic wrapping, not this one. I took the plastic off and you still couldn't smell it. Then I took the casing off and you still couldn't smell it. The sausage tasted okay but would have been better if they would have smoked it. No, I wouldn't recommend this item to a friend.

I had a pretty big order(for a single person) which was meant for a month long trip in and on the Appalachian trail. Order showed up and was warm. Just called and they fixed the problem and very happy with the product. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS
