Full job description

Overview of Position

The purpose of this position is to safely and accurately pull products on order and prepare for shipment. Also, perform other assigned duties as required or assigned to produce a product that meets or exceeds the safety, quality, and productivity standards. On occasion, train others to perform duties, or train new employees in processes and procedures. In addition, this position works with other plant personnel in a team environment and complies with company policy, regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications: Experience and Education

• Ability to count.
• Ability to read, write, and type in English.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records and reports
• Ability to stand up to 100% of the work shift
• Maintain good attendance
• Completely and accurately perform tasks assigned
• Maintain knowledge of product specifications
• Work as a team and take direction from supervisors

• Ability to walk/move/maneuver about the facility

• Understand and follow all USDA, local, corporate, and SOP/SSOP, and GMP rules and regulations

Length of Training Time Required

• Two weeks of on-the-job training and monitoring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
